If the fit runs off
Socks come back for two reasons: the height was wrong for the shoe, or the knit was thicker or thinner than expected. Both are fixable, and neither is handled by us.
Who takes a box back
The retail partner that sold you the box takes it back, under the policy shown on their own pages at the time you bought. They set the window, the condition rules and what happens to the money.
We never receive a returned box, cannot issue anything, and have no way to open a case on their system. Their support desk is the whole process.
Before you send it back
Nine times out of ten the box was right and the height was not. It is worth checking the height against the shoe before you box it up again.
- Low cut stops under the shoe collar, for trainers and low sneakers.
- Ankle clears the ankle bone, for everyday shoes.
- Crew lands on the calf, for work shoes and boots.
- Knee high runs up the lower leg, under tall boots.
The picker walks the same three questions and shows only the boxes that answer all of them.
