How we knit it

We knit these fuzzy socks from a polyester blend with a touch of spandex, so the fabric holds heat and still gives at the cuff. The pair comes in one size that suits most feet, with holiday prints running across the foot. Both pairs arrive sealed in their own round ornament, which can hang on a branch before the socks come out.

What is in the knit

Warm brushed blend

The yarn is ninety eight percent polyester with two percent spandex. The brushed surface keeps the foot warm in a cold room while the small share of stretch lets the sock follow the arch without pressure.

Ornament packing

Each of the two pairs sits inside its own holiday ball. The balls can hang from a tree as decoration until the socks are needed, so the packaging stays part of the season rather than going to the bin.

Holiday prints

The pattern work runs in seasonal colours with figures drawn from the holidays, among them a Santa, reindeer and winter trees. Both pairs carry their own version of the theme.
