How we knit it

We knit these crew socks from a smooth cotton blend for everyday shoes and low boots. The shaft rises above the ankle with a fine rib that keeps its position without squeezing the calf. Each box contains ten pairs in the Multicolor A assortment.

What is in the knit

Double knit heel

We add extra yarn through the heel pocket and the toe cap. This double-knit reinforcement handles friction inside leather shoes and walking flats throughout the day.

Smooth toe finish

The toe seam is linked flat across the front of the footbed. You get a smooth edge inside the toe box with no thick ridges rubbing across your skin.

Ribbed calf cuff

A fine vertical rib runs up the shaft and into the cuff band. The knitting stretches wide to pull on easily, then springs back to hold the fabric upright.

Care and pack

Ten pairs come packed together in the box. Machine wash them cold and lay them flat to dry, then give each pair a quick stretch by hand to reset the cotton knit.
