How we knit it

We knit these crew socks from a soft cotton yarn for everyday wear with oxfords, loafers, or sneakers. The shaft reaches above the ankle with a ribbed cuff that holds without digging into the leg. Double-knitted yarns reinforce the high-contact areas through the heel and toe.
