How we knit it
We knit these low-cut studio socks from a soft cotton blend with added stretch to keep the shape snug around the foot. Clear silicone dots cover the sole from toe to heel for traction on wooden floors and mats. The box contains two black, two pink, one silver gray, and one purple pair.
What is in the knit
Silicone sole grip
Clear silicone dots are applied across the entire underside of the footbed. They give physical purchase against smooth studio floors, reformers, and rubber mats during barre or yoga practice.
Cuff and heel tab
The low ankle cuff sits right beneath the bone and stays in place with a gentle elastic band. A raised knitted tab at the back protects the heel from rubbing against footwear.
Arch band knit
We knit a wide ribbed elastic band around the midfoot. It hugs the arch firmly to keep the sock from twisting or sliding during movement on the floor.
Care and wash
Wash the socks inside out in cold water to keep the silicone dots intact over time. Line drying helps the elastane retain its recovery, though a low dryer cycle works as well.
